Model
Flexibility is a key factor that helps Opus remain
Agile. We offer this flexibility in two ways - numerous
services offered on an individual basis and changeable
business models.
We offer various services across the product lifecycle
and also address individual stages of the software
development life cycle. We offer these services
on an individual basis, allowing our clients to
pick and choose what fits best into their business
and engineering plans.
We offer four different business models that the
client can switch between midstream in a long-term
engagement. Since each model has its unique benefits,
the client can choose the best option, at any given
point in time, to suit internal business plans.
Onsite Model
Under this model, Opus engineers are deputed to
supplement the client's team at the client's location.
Either an onsite project manager or a client representative
handles the project management. This model is also
suitable for onsite consulting with the client's
customers for the client's products, platforms or
technologies
Offshore Offshore
Under this model, the client gets software engineering
work done by the Opus engineers, at Opus New Delhi
facility, on a need-basis. A client representative
would do the project coordination on the client's
side
Hybrid model
This model is the most commonly used for medium-
to long-term engagements, which combines the administrative
benefits of an onsite team with the cost advantages
of an offshore team, wherein a small onsite team
is deputed, either initially or throughout the engagement,
with the client. This onsite team is responsible
for all coordination with the client and also project
management of the offshore team
BOOT model
The Build Own Operate Transfer model is offered
to clients looking to eventually setup their own
operations in India. The model serves as an excellent
entry vehicle for the client into the Indian setup
with thorough exposure to Indian work culture and
Government processes such as accounting practices,
taxes, labor laws, etc.
